Learn to Meditate Half Day Course | Saturday 24 June, 10am-1pm
“If we train in meditation our mind will gradually become more and more peaceful and we shall experience purer and purer forms of happiness. Eventually we shall able to stay happy all the time, even in the most difficult circumstances.”
~ Ven. Geshe Kelsang Gyasto
Meditation is becoming increasingly recognized as an effective means to reduce stress and improve our quality of life, however it also has much deeper and far-reaching benefits that have been understood by Buddhist practitioners for thousands of years. During this course, be guided by an experienced practitioner through several mediations that can be reproduced at home, learn how to improve mindfulness and concentration; as well as how to set up a regular meditation practice. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions and receive guidance on how to improve your meditation practice.
This course is suitable for everyone from complete beginners to experienced meditators.
