What is the age range for the workshop?

This workshop is aimed at adults. Please contact if you want a children's workshop.

Question 2

What is the cancellation and refund policy for the workshop series?

Accepted Answer

Cancellation notice period: Refunds: 28 days or more before the course start date - Full refund minus the fees.15-27 days before the course start date - 50% refund minus the fees. 14 days or less before the course start date - no refunds. In all cases, if we fill all spots, full refund minus fees.

What should I bring with me to the workshop?

Accepted Answer

1. A top or a shirt if it has a button missing 
2. A pair of trousers or skirt with the hem ripped 
3. A shirt or blouse or jacket (indoors or outdoors) where the arm hole or side seam has ripped open. 
4. Needle & Thread - matching colour thread if you have it 
5. A pair of sharp scissors

Question 4

What if I don't have garments to repair? Can I still do the workshop?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Absolutely. If you don't have a garment to repair, I will provide some sample fabric for you to practice on. I will have spare buttons and thread and tools.

Question 5

Do I need to know sewing or mending before I do the workshop?

Accepted Answer

No. This is aimed at beginners and intermediates. All you need is an interest to learn.

Question 6

How many participants will attend this workshop?

Accepted Answer

There will be a maximum of 6 participants at this workshop. Small groups work best as everyone gets a chance to learn and ask questions. Please note: If less than 3 participants have booked on the course, we will reschedule the workshop for a more convenient date.

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?

Accepted Answer

Unfortunately, this venue isn't wheelchair accessible. There are 2 short sets of stairs to get to the room. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you want further info or any specific needs or concerns. I will do my best to accommodate you.
