Frequently asked questions

Do I need my own scythe?

No scythes are provided at £20 hire per day. You can of course bring your own should you have one.

What should I wear on the day?

Good footwear, layers for every weather and gloves are optional to prevent blisters. A hat is also a good idea. Wear trousers or shorts with belt loops and a belt. The reason for this will become clear on the day.

Is food and drink provided.

No, but the garden centre shop has some snacks and drinks available. Bring your own to be on the safe side.
