In just 90 minutes, you’ll learn the basics of the Nordic walking technique in a relaxed and supportive setting, led by a qualified British Nordic Walking instructor. By the end, you’ll have the confidence to join regular Nordic walking groups — and you’ll feel the difference Nordic walking makes!

Suitable for all fitness levels. No experience needed – just wear comfy clothes and walking shoes.

What is Nordic walking?

Nordic walking is an outdoor fitness activity that builds on natural walking. Using two lightweight poles and a special technique it brings your arms, upper body and core into your walking, strengthening your whole body and taking the strain off your joints. It is also good for relaxing your mind.

What should I wear?

Trainers or shoes suitable for walking on grass. Any clothing that's comfortable for you to walk in and is suitable for the weather.

Do you cancel if it rains?

We only cancel if thunderstorms or high winds are forecast.
