"Enrol by 1st November and save 5% on your course fee — no code needed!"
During this fun and interactive 3 week watercolour course we will learn to draw and paint like the beloved children's book author and artist Beatrix Potter, who found her inspiration in nature and her surroundings.
Potter once wrote " Nature, with the exception of water and air, is made of colour ".
We will attempt to complete a colourful watercolour piece inspired by the work of Beatrix Potter, starting with sketching on a watercolour paper and we will be exploring the watercolour painting techniques that she used in her paintings.
We will not be able to use the same materials that Beatrix Potter used because they are no longer produced. However we will use materials that will resamble the ones she used during her lifetime.
