Learn to Paint with Pastels – Introduction

Curious about pastel painting but not sure where to start? Join me for a one-hour taster session during Lee Green Open Studios and discover the expressive, vibrant world of soft pastels.

In this friendly, hands-on workshop you’ll:

• Learn the basics of how pastels work and the different ways to use them
• Try a fun 100 strokes exercise to loosen up and free your creativity
• Experiment with colours, textures, and mark-making — no experience needed!

What’s included:

• All materials provided in a starter pack (feel free to bring your own if you have them)
• Guidance on higher-quality materials if you’d like to continue after the workshop
• Personal attention in a small group (max. 4 people per session)
