Jools Holland, Patron for the charity music for all [who organise learn to play day], commented, “Whether you used to play or whether you have always wanted to play this is the day for you. I am delighted to help Music for All in their quest to inspire more people to participate in music making, either for the first time or to return to playing after having lapsed. I hope that my involvement will help the charity reach more people and get more people “having a go”.
Alan Johnson Co-Owner Music Gym “Learning to play an instrument is an amazing experience, it takes time and dedication and brings a lifetime of enjoyment.Learning music also brings people together, develops self-esteem and encourages other life skills including confidence and creativity. It only takes that first step which is why we are proud to support National Learn to Play Day, providing taster sessions for those who have never played or for those that might be a little rusty and just need a some encouragement.”
