This beginner-friendly class is the perfect starting point! You’ll be guided step by step through the sewing basics, gaining the skills and confidence to start your own projects.
What you’ll learn:
- The essential tools you need to get started
- Getting familiar with your sewing machine and its parts
- How to thread your machine and wind a bobbin
- Needle types and sizes
- Stitch guide: straight and zigzag stitches
- Tips for neat seams, corners, and curves
- Simple project ideas to practice your new skills
Equipment:
- If you already own a sewing machine, please bring it along (with its manual) so you can practice on your own machine, ( you will have to sign that you must take sole responsibility of your sewing machine while at the workshops).
- Don’t have one? No problem — we have studio machines available. Just let us know in advance if you’ll need to use one.
