Learn to Solder - the essential electronics skill (March/ Bank Station)

Always wanted to make or fix your own electrical or electronics but never knew where to start then this is the class for you! Good soldering is one of the most fundamental skills in the electronics toolbox, as it enables you to create sturdy connections between electronics components and is the essential ability for dabbling.
This introduction to soldering workshop is a 2-hour class in which you will learn all the basics of soldering in the context of constructing simple gadget that you get to keep. In this hands-on workshop, you'll learn how to use a soldering iron safely and effectively, and get plenty of practice. There is a few minutes of instructions on H&S but the majority of the time is hands on.
No previous experience is required, making this workshop a great choice for anyone who's curious about getting started with hardware tinkering! Unfortunately, we are limited by seating and tools at each session, so sign up today to reserve your soldering iron station, but it is run every month.
This course runs at both Fab Lab London (Bank Station) and at EagleLab powered by Fab Lab London (Notting Hill Gate) on different dates and at different times.
The course is run by Tony Fish who is a co-founder of Fab Lab London and is a space qualified soldering expert!
