Event lasts 10 days 2 hours

This course is for complete beginners ages 10 years and up. It will cover basic safety, balance and good posture techniques to give you the confidence to get you up on our 2-foot stilts, as well as some basic movement skills to get you moving.

Places on this popular course are limited and booking is essential.

It is also essential that you are able to attend all 5 workshops, to make sure you build up the skills and stamina to perform in the parade.

Workshop dates and times are:

Wednesday 11 June, 5.30–7.30pm

Saturday 14 June, 5.30–7.30pm

Monday 16 June, 5.30–7.30pm

Wednesday 18 June, 5.30–7.30pm

Saturday 21 June, 5.30–7.30pm

Sunday 22 June: PARADE DAY PERFORMANCE. You will need to arrive 10.30am for the parade which begins at 12 noon and finishes at approx. 1pm.

Our experienced teachers Jess and Rowan are DBS checked and have taught many young people to stilt walk, boosting their self confidence.
