About this event

  • No venue parking

This throwing workshop is for all levels - suitable for those who wish to master the skill or people who just want to give throwing a try.

Lead by Associate Artist Sam Elston who will provide an overview of Makerspace for new makers and an introduction to the numerous techniques involved when working on the wheel.

The workshop can work as a single class but is also open for makers to attend weekly to develop their practice, hone their technique and continue individual projects.

About the Associate Artist leading the session: Sam works within illustration & ceramics. His work celebrates playfulness with bright colours and cheerful (sometimes cheeky) characters. Sam started developing his ceramic practice at Colchester Makerspace and now can't get enough of it. Learn more about Sam on his website: www.samelston.co.uk
