About:

D’relle West is the Father of the International House of West, a dance teacher and choreographer for the Molly’s Masquerade.

300 years ago, London’s Molly Houses were the first cross-dressing gay clubs in Europe. A precursor to the 20th century ballroom scene, the Molly Houses were spaces where working class men could go to for sex, gin, fiddles and fun.

These workshops are a part of the Heritage Lottery and Arts Council England funded project 'Molly's Masquearade' at St. Margaret's House, Bethnal Green. In memory of our 18th century queer ancestors the sessions will work towards a sharing at the Molly's Masquerade Spring Gathering on April 1st, and the Molly's Masquerade ball in summer 2021
