Blogs and thought leadership articles are one of the best ways to engage with your audience. And as well as sharing relevant information and connecting with your audience, they’re SEO gold! Well-written, well-planned blogs help improve your website’s performance on search engines. This is great news if you want to share the word more easily.


But how do you actually write a blog?


That’s where this two-part masterclass comes in!


In two 90-minute sessions, I will share the techniques I use to write blogs for my clients, time after time.


You’ll learn how to:

• Plan ideas for your blogs

• Structure your work

• Keep your writing on-brand

• Make sure your blog or thought leadership piece is SEO-friendly

• Actually write and edit your work

• Choose engaging titles to encourage readers to engage with your content

• Repurpose your writing so it keeps working hard for you

• Choose the right images for your blog or thought leadership piece

• Share your work so people read it

• Make your writing as shareable as possible.

This workshop is not designed for professional writers (you’ll know a lot of this stuff already). It’s also not designed for people who want to hack their way to the top spot of Google – this is a more holistic approach to writing content that supports a wide range of business objectives.


How is this workshop structured?

This is a two-part masterclass. The first session is on the 19th September 2025, at 10:30am GMT. The second session is a week later - the 26th September 2025, at 10:30am GMT.

There's so much content to share that it's impossible to cover in one manageable session. Spreading your learning over two weeks gives you a chance to reflect on your learning and start applying your new knowledge with the reassurance that I'll be on hand to provide feedback and guidance should you need it.

At the end of this workshop, you have the chance to send me a piece of your work for review and suggestions.


This workshop is worth up to four CPD points. Attending will give you three CPD points, and completing the optional homework will give you a further CPD point.


Who is running this event?

I'm Laura. I'm a copywriter and content writer who creates written content for a range of fantastic businesses. I love writing blogs (it’s one of my favourite things to do), and I’m running this workshop so I can share the things I’ve learnt with you.

I'm realistic, friendly and helpful - you won't come away with a head full of theory and funny terms. I'll make sure you get practical, easy-to-implement ideas that you can put into action straight away!
