THE CENTRAL CRIMINAL COURT, LONDON
SPONSORED BY No5 BARRISTERS CHAMBERS (www.No5.com)
By popular demand "Learned Friends", a compelling, high stakes legal drama, returns to the Central Criminal Court in a promenade performance which moves between lower hall and historic Court One, the location of some of this country's most notorious criminal trials.
Counsel await the verdict in a high profile criminal trial. Prosecution counsel is bored, defence counsel preoccupied. Each holds a secret. Irreconcilable conflicts emerge as irregularities in the trial are exposed. Loyalty is pitted against professional duty. Who wins? Who do you think?
Ginny Davis Productions presents a brand new version with two possible endings. During the play a random sample of the audience will choose which ending they wish to see. None of the performers knows their choice at the start of the play.
Judith Taylor (Prosecution counsel) - Ginny Davis
Mandy Armstrong (Defence counsel) - Sharon Baylis
His Honour Judge Charles Savage - Mr Justice William Davis
Supporting roles played by members of the company.
