The aim of this session is: To generate creative ideas for dealing with the changes and challenges facing L&D professionals in the 21st century.
At the end of this short session it is expected that participants will have:
- Explored the changes facing L & D currently and challenges for the future
- Considered how the content and delivery of learning can keep pace with organisational and learners’ needs
- Generated creative ideas about how Learning & Development professionals and departments can remain not just relevant but essential in the 21st century.
This session will be led by:
Nicola Roy, Training Officer with NHS National Training Services and Richard Thomson Senior Partner at TW Associates. Nicola has over 20 years experience working in a variety of L&D roles in both the private and public sector. Richard is a facilitator and author and has spent over twenty five years designing and delivering high quality management development activities for organisations in the UK, Europe and the Middle East.

Welcome to the South East of Scotland branch events page.
We have over 2400 members in the Edinburgh, Lothians and Borders areas and run a varied programme of events from September to May.
The branch has a range of special interest and geographical groups including Learning and Development, Mediation, HR Systems, Knowledge into Practice, Borders and West Lothian, and offers CPD and upgrading support and a mentoring programme.
