Description

THE STUDENT VOICE

Learning & Teaching Enhancement Conference

We are pleased to announce that the Student Voice Learning and Teaching Enhancement Conference will take place on campus on Thursday 26th April 2018.

The conference is designed to draw together staff and students to explore the importance of the student voice in meeting the objectives of Teesside 2020. The programme features a range of presentations, workshops and panel discussions, including School based sessions for students to explore key issues within the context of their disciplines.

We are delighted that the conference will feature a keynote presentation by Simon Blake, Chief Executive Officer of the NUS.

In addition, delegates can choose to attend up to two workshops:

  • Co-creation in the curriculum
  • Student mentoring and buddying
  • Using technology to enhance the student voice
  • Driving change through module evaluations
  • Embedding skills in the curriculum to enhance the student voice.

Staff and students from Teesside University and partner colleges are welcome to attend single workshops or participate in the full conference programme.

Please see the conference programme and abstracts for further information.
