We're delighted to announce our next Learning & Development Session with Nicky Dewhirst-Vickers on Silent Coaching!
Life is full of things that need actioning and distractions which get in the way of those actions. We crave more time to think. In leadership we crave time to reflect, to be measured and considered and to lead consciously.
Silent coaching is an experience. An experience that takes you from a place of identifying your goal and then shifts your mindset to action, motivation and focus, all through asking coaching questions.
It’s all private. You write down the answers. It ends with anchoring you to your goal and locking in a new neurology and a drive and determination to succeed.
It’s a great experience for those that have never had coaching before but are curious about what it is. Those that have experienced coaching will have a new but more familiar experience. It’s a space of productivity and wellbeing. It’s often described as ‘therapeutic’, but it is not therapy.
Silent coaching provides the time and space for you to work through something that you never get chance to think through to the end: a challenge, a project, a plan, an aspiration, a goal, a spark of an idea. Something you want to focus on.
You will be invited to bring, in your mind, something you would like to work on. You will be asked a series of set and intuitive coaching questions. You will write your responses. These will be for you only. You will not be asked to share these with me or anyone else. They will be confidential.
You will then have time to reflect and consider your responses and make any amendments.
You will leave feeling motivated and clear on what you’re going to do to move you towards your goal and how you will achieve it.
We crave more time. The time we have is precious. You want to ensure that attending a silent coaching session is a good use of your time and it is enjoyable. Attached are a few words from people who have experienced silent coaching previously to help you make an informed decision.
