Are you currently supporting someone with a learning disability and dementia? Would you like to find out more about approaches to dementia research with people who have a learning disability? This webinar, delivered by Professor Karen Watchman, will look at research conducted at the University of Stirling including:

  • Life through a Lens – implementing non drug support for people with a learning disability and dementia; a study that also included people with a learning disability as co-researchers.
  • Stand by Me – co-designed research with couples who have a learning disability when one partner is affected by a dementia.
  • Life Story Work evaluation – strategies to help families plan ahead alongside their older relative with a learning disability.
