Description

Following analysis of the Learning from Deaths sections of trust quality accounts, the National Patient Safety Team are running a webinar for community and mental health trusts.

The webinar will last an hour and will consist of two case presentations delivered by trusts focusing on their own Learning from Deaths story, followed by an interactive discussion.

It will be held on 5 June 2019, where you will have the opportunity to hear from Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust and North East London NHS Foundation Trust.

This event is open to staff from all community and mental health NHS trusts in England.


Register now for the opportunity to:

  • share best practice in Learning from Deaths policy implementation

  • hear from two trusts who have successfully implemented and derived useful learning from the policy

  • gather feedback on the ongoing challenges trusts face in implementing the policy to gain better support


Who should attend?

  • Staff directly involved in implementing learning from deaths within their organisation
  • Medical directors and deputy medical directors
  • Staff working in patient safety and/or quality improvement
