This course will explore safeguarding children with disabilities and complex and continuing health care needs. The course is freely available to all of Hampshire's professionals and volunteers working with children and young people.


Learning Outcomes:

-Learn which children with disabilities are more vulnerable and/or more likely to be abused

-Recognise the voice of the child

-Identify the links between neglect and childhood disabilities

-Discover how to work with and challenge parents/carers of disabled children

-Understand the importance of a lead professional for these children
