Launched in July 2022, the Leeds Health and Social Care Hub represents a new and dynamic way for Central Government, Local Government, the NHS and the Voluntary and Community Sector to work together to improve health outcomes. This includes deepening the understanding between national policy makers on the one hand and those implementing policy on the ground.

On Thursday 5th October 2023, sponsored by Sir Chris Wormald, Permanent Secretary of the Department of Health and Social Care, and Tom Riordan CBE, Chief Executive of Leeds City Council, the Hub is hosting a panel session to discuss the challenges, practicalities and opportunities of integration between health and social care.

This event is aimed at those working in health and social care, across the Public, Private and Voluntary Sectors.

The Panel host and facilitator will be Alison Holt – Social Affairs Editor at the BBC.

The event will take place online and will include a Q&A session where attendees can ask the panellists questions.
