Event description

Description

We at the University of Exeter’s Education Incubator are very pleased to invite all staff and students to the University’s Learning Spaces Symposium, entitled: “Do we need Lecture Theatres in the 21st Century?” on the 3rd May 2018, Newman Collaborative LT, at the Streatham Campus, Exeter.

The Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Education Professor Timothy Quine is expected to open the conference. The agenda will focus on the changing role that teaching, learning and study spaces play in higher education and how we might want them to change in the future; as well as critically examine our current teaching and study spaces and student’s expectations. It is an opportunity to be involved in discussion about the best and most appropriate places to learn; how and why we use technology and how we see our new buildings, rooms and lecture theatres being used in the future

We would be delighted if you would like to participate. We have exciting external and internal speakers and expect the event to be fully interactive.

If you would like to take part, please respond to the Eventbrite invite so that a full schedule and further information can be sent to you prior to the event.

Any enquiries please contact the Incubator Fellow for this project: Dr Sue Prince – s.j.prince@exeter.ac.uk.
