About this Event
Is the Relaxation course for me?
Learn skills and techniques to help you relax effectively. Mindfulness techniques will aim to enable individuals to bring their attention to what they want to focus on and help them to normalise the actions of their mind.
All our courses are delivered within a group environment so you must be willing to participate in group exercises. Our course facilitators are extremely experienced however they are not trained counsellors and so are not able to offer individual therapeutic support.
What about Covid-19?
During the current Covid-19 pandemic, our courses are running online. Our classes are delivered using Zoom. We will email instructions for joining prior to the class beginning and we ask that you have a pen and paper handy so you can continue to participate fully. Please note that we will need to lock access to these courses 5 minutes after the start time - no further access will be available after this time. We recommend logging into the webinar a minimum of 10-minutes before the advertised start time. Upon logging in you will remain in a ‘waiting room’ until our hosts open the webinar.
How much does this cost to attend?
Our courses are completely free of charge to those living within the Glasgow City Council area. For the duration of the Covid-19 pandemic, we are also welcoming those who live out-with the Glasgow area.
Can those that live out-with Glasgow City Council participate?
We are able to offer our courses free of charge to Glasgow City Council residents due to the funding we receive from Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership. For the duration of the Covid-19 pandemic, we are also welcoming those who live out-with the Glasgow area.
