With Gen Machig
“Circumstances or other people have no power to make us feel bad. The most they can do is trigger the potential for painful feelings that already exist within our mind.” ~ How to Solve Our Human Problems
Each of us carry within us a heavy burden of negativity comprised of both negative mental habits and the residue of our past unskilful actions. This “inner darkness” of delusion and karma obstructs our day to day happiness by producing continuous difficulties and prevent us from making progress in our spiritual practice.
This morning course will explore Buddha’s teachings on purification which reveal how we can learn to accept the past and let go of these inner obstacles. By purifying our mind in this way we will come to realize our full potential for happiness and freedom.
Each session will consist of teachings and meditations as well as an opportunity to ask questions. Everyone is welcome, no previous experience necessary.
About the speaker:

She is well loved by her students and brings to her teachings a great wealth of personal experience, insight, warmth and humour.
