Join us on Saturday 15th June and take part in our abseil off the amazing Leasowe Lighthouse!

Participants will abseil 110ft off the peninsulas favourite lighthouse!

No experience necessary - expert guidance will be provided throughout. Anyone under the age of 16 years old will need written permission from an adult and minimum age is 10 years old.

Registration is £25 and we ask that you do your best to raise £150 in sponsorship for Maggie's Wirral. The £150 you raise could pay for one of our 'Getting Started' sessions for people who have just been diagnosed, so they can find out everything they need to know about cancer and treatment.

Built in the grounds of NHS cancer hospitals, Maggie's centres are places with professional staff on hand to offer the support people need.

Our centres are places to find practical advice about benefits and eating well; places where qualified experts provide emotional support; places to meet other people; places where you can simply sit quietly with a cup of tea.

The first Maggie’s opened in Edinburgh in 1996 and since then Maggie’s has continued to grow, with 26 centres at major NHS cancer hospitals in the UK and abroad.
