Lecture Recording Using TechSmith Relay
Only 12 places per session - booking essential
TechSmith Relay is provided on London Met podium pcs to enable staff to make the mandatory recordings of all level 3, 4 and 7 lectures from the start of the 2016-17 academic year.
The application allows staff to record their audio and capture the on-screen activity from the podium pc during the lecture. The recording is saved as a video file on the London Met Media Library server.
WebLearn now includes an integrated 'mash-up' tool that enables instructors to embed the video recording directly in the module for student access.
This one hour session will show staff how to use TechSmith Relay to record a lecture and how to locate and embed the video in WebLearn.
The session is followed by an optional 30 minutes for Q&A and the opportunity for staff to try the process in one of their own modules.
If you would like to discuss this session or request other training, or if you would like to arrange a custom session for 5 or more members of staff, please contact the CPED eTeam at: firstname.lastname@example.org
