Abstract: The basic principle of the task-based approach is “to learn by doing". As both understanding and expression are manifestations of language use, the realisation of input by understanding and output by expression is the embodiment of "to learn by doing". Online teaching involves two forms of interaction: human-computer interaction and interpersonal interaction. Both forms can be implemented through input tasks and output tasks. From this aspect we can view the interface between online teaching and task-based teaching. Prof Wu Zhongwei will give a brief theoretical explanation of this idea. Following this, Xu Jing will demonstrate a model of teaching design and planning for a comprehensive Mandarin lesson for beginners, focusing on the topic "buying things".

提要:任务型教学的基本精神是“用中学”,理解和表达都是语言使用的表现形式。在理解中实现输入,在表达中实现输出,正是“用中学”精神的体现。在线教学包括人机互动和人际互动两种形式,人机互动和人际互动这两种形式与输入型任务和输出型任务具有一定的对应关系,从这种对应关系中我们或许可以看到在线教学与任务型教学的接口。吴中伟将对这一思路进行简要的理论阐释,许静将在这一思路下以“买东西”为主题展示一堂初级汉语综合课的教学设计。

Short-bio of speakers

WU Zhongwei is a Professor at the School of International Cultural Exchange of Fudan University and Director of the World Chinese Language Teaching Association. His main research interests are Chinese international education and modern Chinese grammar. He has published more than 50 research papers on Chinese and Chinese teaching.

XU Jing is a lecturer at the School of International Cultural Exchange of Fudan University. She has published several papers and books on Chinese language teaching.

吴中伟,复旦大学国际文化交流学院教授,世界汉语教学学会理事。主要研究兴趣为汉语国际教育、现代汉语语法。发表汉语及汉语教学研究论文50余篇。著有《现代汉语句子的主题研究》、《怎样教语法》、《对外汉语任务型教学》(合作),编写本科教材《对外汉语教学法》(副主编)、《实用汉语教学语法》(合作主编)、《现代汉语概论》(副主编),研究生教材《汉语作为第二语言教学——汉语技能教学》(主编),汉语教材《当代中文》(主编)、《拾级汉语》(合作主编)、《速通汉语》(合作主编)等。2001年获上海市育才奖。2002年被评为全国对外汉语教学优秀教师。曾任新加坡教育部中学华文教材(2011版)编写顾问。

许静,复旦大学国际文化交流学院教师。著有《汉语语音与语音教学》、《这个词原来这么说》。参与编写的教材有《拾级汉语》、《速通汉语》、《中国概况》。所授课程《中国概况》获评2019年度复旦大学全英文优秀课程。
