Event description
Global best-selling thriller writer Lee Child talks exclusively about his career and the influence of Shakespeare on his writing

About this Event

The Stratford Literary Festival hosts an exclusive one-off online interview with Lee Child during which the global writing phenomenon will be talking about the influence Shakespeare has had on his writing.

Timed to coincide with publication of his authorised biography, the interview with his biographer, Dr Heather Martin, will cover his astonishing writing career, and include revelations about a life-changing visit to the RSC in Stratford from his home in Birmingham aged nine, an experience that sparked a life-long love of Shakespeare and his work, and that influenced the creation of his main protagonist, Jack Reacher.

Available online at 6pm GMT Monday 28th September 2020, ticketholders will be sent the link-to-view direct from Eventbrite - check your junk if you haven't received your link.

Ticket prices vary and are suggested prices - revenue from tickets will help ensure the future of the Festival and its valuable outreach work in schools, the community and prisons. Stratford Literary Festival is a registered charity.

This exclusive event is in partnership with Kenilworth Books and you can order a copy of the biography, Reacher, Prospero and Me, with an exclusive double-signed bookplate designed exclusively for Kenilworth Books.
