About this event

A night of free-thinking standup comedy with comedians who don't self-censor.

Lee Hurst

Lee Hurst has been doing stand up comedy for over 30 years. We are honoured that Lee is headlining this night.

Blank Peng

Opening Act for Henning Wehn. Second Place of Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year 2024 "Delightful presence with a faux innocence that conceals a cutting edge" -- Chortle

Jonathan Kogan

Jonathan forges his sharp material from a combination of astute observations, self-deprecating Jewish humour and unique one-liners, all with a natural anti-authoritarian slant. Here’s a clip of Jonathan at the London club

Julian Deane

Widely celebrated for his ingenious punchlines, Julian Deane is an award-winning British stand up comedian and writer. Within a few years of starting stand up comedy, he was named Best New Comedian by the Comedy Café in London and won the ITV Stand Up Hero.

Bruce Devlin - Compere

A man of delightfully acerbic wit and the sharpest of lines. ‘A tongue so sharp he could peel a king Edward’ **** the Scotsman

Why Comedy Unleashed?

Andrew Doyle:

“Andy Shaw and I set up Comedy Unleashed because we feel that the time is right for a new alternative comedy movement. We book comics from all political backgrounds, or those who have no interest in politics at all. Our key criteria is that they are talented and funny. ”
