Step back in time and uncover the hidden stories of Leeds' legendary pub and brewing heritage on our 'Highlights' tour. This condensed journey, spanning over 300 years, offers a taste of our full Leeds Heritage Pub Tour experience, at a more accessible price.

We begin at the iconic Tetley, where you'll hear the tale of a brewing empire that once dominated Britain. Then, we venture into the late Victorian architectural marvel of the Adelphi, and glimpse into the workings of a 1950s Leeds brewery.

From the Adelphi, we embark on a walking adventure that takes us through the heart of Leeds. Stand outside the Old Red Lion and shiver as you hear the chilling tale of a brewer's untimely demise. We'll embark on a 'ghost pub crawl,' revealing the ghostly outlines of vanished pubs, and delve into other captivating stories that shaped the city's pub and brewing culture.

Our grand finale is at Whitelock's Ale House, a Leeds institution since 1715. Here, amidst the historic ambiance, you'll hear the uncensored stories that have made Whitelock's a beloved landmark.

Your ticket includes a half-pint drink at each of our three pub stops. Choose from hand-pulled ale, draught lager, draught cider, or soft drinks. For the comfort and efficiency of the tour, and to ensure a timely finish, we are unable to offer upgrades to pints or drinks with higher alcohol content, such as wine or spirits.

Tour guide Mike Hampshire is the current Secretary for the British Guild of Beer Writers, a former CAMRA Branch Chair, has helped run a micro brewery, operated a pub and is a Beer Festival Organiser.
