We consider Leeds to be an SEO hub in the UK, home to SearchLeeds, the biggest Search conference in the north, and to some of the biggest agencies in the country all delivering industry leading results in Search Engine Optimization for world class brands.

As part of the Leeds Digital Festival, Leeds Loves Search is a half-day mini SEO conference, hosted by Edit at Duke Street Studios on April 25th. Now in its third year, the event brings together leading agencies in Leeds for an afternoon of insight into technical SEO, link building, voice search and more.

Speakers for the event include:

14.00 – 14.25 - Polly Pospelova – Head of Search, Delete Agency

Polly is the co-manager of Delete Agency’s visibility team, made up of SEO specialists, PPC managers and content & PR consultants. In this talk, Polly will walk you through what is needed to get a 100% Lighthouse performance score for your website. She’ll share tips on the types of optimisation that will earn the most points and help you to focus your efforts in the right areas, in addition to sharing real examples and more.

14.25 – 14.50 - Neill Horie – Head of Artificial Intelligence Optimisation, Home Agency

Neill is Head of Artificial Intelligence Optimisation at The Home Agency with a passion for making things clearer via organisation. To that end, he’s involved in a projects in the hope that regardless of whether it’s a new website or an old product brochure, it’s clear what’s what.

What’s it about:
Digital assistants are in more homes than ever before – with YouGov’s 2018 Smart Speaker report indicating that 1 in 10 Brits now own one. With this in mind, Neill will get to the bottom of how people are using Voice Search and digital assistants, as well as what they’re using them for and which devices they use. Neill will chat about the lessons he’s learned, offering his key takeaways to inform your search and digital strategies.

Carrie is a Senior Campaign Strategist at Edit, responsible for running creative content marketing campaigns for some of the agency’s largest clients. Her work closely aligns with SEO strategy, building links on top tier publications to improve organic performance. She has been shortlisted for young digital marketer of the year at the northern digital awards 2019, and previously won Best use of search within Travel at UK search awards 2018, and Best Content Marketing Campaign at the UK Search Awards 2017.
