Frequently asked questions

Is there car parking available?

Yes there will be spaces available in the Bexley Wing multi storey car park. Parking charges apply.

I have some questions about the event, who can I ask?

Sure! Just email us at leedsth-tr.rteducation@nhs.net. You can also email us after the event with any follow up questions.

The event is at lunchtime, will there be food & drink provided?

There are vending machines in the department but we will not be providing other food or drink

What time should I arrive?

Please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to your chosen tour time. This is to allow us time to navigate everyone to the starting point of the tour. Tour slots have been set up to spread attendees across the day, however if you are running late - don't worry we'll just allocate to a tour on arrival

Can I just turn up whenever between 10am and 1pm if I can't make my booked slot?

Yes, there will be plenty of stands to see and staff to talk to about careers whilst during the open day. Ideally arrival at the booked time helps us run the day efficiently ensuring everyone gets to go on the tour part of the day. But we will be flexible with the tours.

What will you do with my personal data?

As part of the booking process, we are asking for your name and email address. Your name will be used for ticketing purposes only. Your email address will be used to contact you about any changes to the event, and potentially to send a feedback questionnaire.

What will you do with the answers to the event questions?

During booking, we ask how you heard about our event, location and why you are interested. This information will be stored at LTH and reviewed to enable us to ensure we are reaching the target audience for our events. Anonymised answers may be shared within the NHS. Email us if you have concerns

Can I bring someone with me?

Yes, each ticket booked includes yourself and one or two accompanying over 18 year olds. If you want to bring a large group of family, friends or classmates, please contact leedsth-tr.rteducation@nhs.net so we can check we have space in the tour areas.
