Come along on teh 29th March to hear golden nuggets of helping the inactive become active.
In October 2015, Spirit of 2012 in partnership with Scottish government launched the Physical Activity Legacy 2014 Fund. 11 projects from across Scotland were selected to scale up activities that deliver outcomes related to the Scottish Governments Active Scotland Outcomes Framework specifically outcomes 1 and 2
- We encourage and enable the inactive to be more active
- We encourage and enable the active to stay active throughout life
Key to the project was learning and sharing what works and what does not work in helping inactive to be more active.
The event will showcase learning from the 11 projects from across Scotland. There will be an opportunity to learn directly through networking as well as hear how the results will impact future policy across health and social care and how phase 2 of the project will be rolled out. Speakers will include representatives from the project themselves, as well as Sir Harry Burns and the Minister for Public Health and Sport.
