About this event
Come and join us this summer to see the Kilkeel legacy lifeboat, and your loved one’s name, up close at the RNLI All-weather Lifeboat Centre (ALC) in Poole, Dorset.
At the event, you’ll get the opportunity to see the lifeboat up close and find your loved one’s name in the numbers and letters on the side of the lifeboat. The printed banners around the site. will help guide you on where their name appears on the lifeboat, to help you find your loved one quickly and easily.
This event will last 45-minutes, which includes a visit to the RNLI College, light refreshments, and the opportunity to see the Kilkeel RNLI Lifeboat.
Applications for free tickets to our legacy lifeboat event are now open and can be booked through our Eventbrite Page.
Please read our FAQs section below carefully before booking your tickets, as it contains important information about the event.

Due to the nature of the Kilkeel Lifeboat station being positioned in a working harbour it won’t be possible to have an event at the station. However, when the Lifeboat isn’t in service it will be on a pontoon which is visible to members of the public.
