Are you an EU/EEA national living in the UK? Worried about your rights and options post-Brexit?

Although the legal status of EU/EEA nationals in the UK will not change until the UK concludes its exit from the European Union, the government has so far refused to guarantee our rights.

Can we take any steps now to safeguard our futures? Join us for an evening of advice about Permanent Residency, Settled Status, Citizenship and how they may apply to you.

Deepak Bali

Deepak is a highly qualified and experienced senior solicitor who has successfully built established law practices from the ground up, representing clients with both immigration and employment legal issues throughout the UK and India. Since setting up DRB Immigration Solutions in 2008 in Glasgow, Deepak has overseen its commercial growth and expansion, developing additional functioning offices in both London and Delhi and representing high-profile, public clients and high net worth individuals on behalf of the company.
Deepak is a regular speaker on Tier 1 investor and Entrepreneur visas, he assists as in-house counsel to various companies to assist with various business immigration related visa issues, not only in the UK but also in various other EU member states.



Tariq Nawaz

OISC Level 3 in immigration and asylum adviser.
He has dealt with most types of applications and does appeals and representation of clients’ cases in Tribunals.
From an earlier life he has a degree in mechanical engineering for University College London and practised in the field of power generation and construction sector and later as a senior civil servant and a consultant in European legislation and standardisation for the free movement of goods in Europe.

Is this a free event?
There is a £5 charge (excluding Eventbrite fee) to attend the event. The charge covers the organisation of the event only.

If you are not able to afford the fee, please contact us. A ticket will be allocated to you.

I'm not an EU/EEA national. Can I still come?
Yes, we are happy for British nationals with good intention of supporting their EU friends to come and attend the evening!

Can I bring my own questions?
Yes, there will be a Q&A session after the talk.


Can I come and complain about how terrible Brexit is?
THIS EVENT WILL NOT BE A POLITICAL FORUM. As upset as we EU/EEA nationals may be by the result of the referendum, this evening is designed to offer legal advice.

INCA CGIL offers free a
dvice and information on welfare rights, with particular regard to pensions for Italians, Italian speaking people and their relatives, non-Italian people who worked in Italy.

NEPCO CIC was established by people with experience in social activities in 2007. The organisation fulfilled a demand that appeared with an inflow of Poles into the North East of England, especially after 2004. Its aim is to integrate the Polish community abroad living and working in the North East, to bring Polish culture and tradition closer to the local community, and to establish an intercultural dialogue based on mutual respect and understanding
