Event description

Description

The Research Excellence Framework throws up issues and questions for researchers in all disciplines and many universties hold workshops and talks to help us prepare for the REF and understand the requirements. However, it can also be useful to consider concerns specific to our discipline and this may be particularly the case in areas such as legal education research. This one-day event brings together experts to help participants explore

  • the role of legal education research in Law REF submissions (and/or possible alternatives),
  • the importance and role of impact and associated case studies,
  • publishing requirements and
  • advice and tips for preparing (individually and collectively) for the next REF and beyond.

The event is organised by the Association of Law Teachers and hosted by Leeds Beckett University.
