Speakers: Michael Edenborough QC and Anthony Tridico
Michael Edenborough QC and Anthony Tridico will speak on the law of legal privilege in the UK and US respectively, including patent attorney and trade mark attorney privilege and with practical points of interest to IP practitioners. Anthony is a qualified patent attorney before the USPTO and a member of the bar in the District of Columbia and Pennsylvania. He is also the managing partner of the London office of Finnegan. Michael has more than 20 years’ experience at the IP bar and recently represented the AIPPI as an intervener in the Prudential case before the Supreme Court on the scope of legal advice privilege.
There will be the opportunity to ask questions and drinks will be served afterwards.
This course is directed at all levels of practitioners with an interest in intellectual property and will provide them with an understanding of the current issues surrounding the issue of privilege.
