Summary:
The UK Government has initiated extensive proposed change in the employment field. It is crucial HR professionals stay informed of these developments in order to plan / prepare effectively for these changes in what is becoming an increasingly complex legal environment.
Aim:
This session will give HR professionals an overview of the raft of employment law changes and what they mean for employers (focusing on those in the NHS).
Objectives:
It is envisaged that attendees will obtain a better awareness/understanding of:-
- Employment Rights Bill and its (potential) impact.
- What NHS organisations can or should be doing to prepare / plan for these changes including in relation to any particular risk areas.
Outcome:
Provide attendees with an overview of the employment law changes (in particular the Employment Rights Bill) and what NHS organisation can and should be doing to prepare.
