About the Tour
Summary of the Day: Stirling is only around 40 minutes away from Glasgow. On this tour we will visit the awesome Kelpies monument: two large horse heads at the canal. You'll hear some myths and legends of these scary creatures as well as getting time to walk around. We'll next visit the woodland and exterior of the Wallace Monument on the outskirts of Stirling city. Finally we'll stop in Stirling itself and break for lunch. Afterwards you'll be taken on a walk around the back of the castle and up to Gowan Hill for some legends and myths of the city itself before heading down to the old Stirling Bridge for some pictures.
What to Bring: Lunch in not included. Please either bring lunch with you (recommended) or bring some cash on the day. Toilets can sometimes cost around 20p to 40p per use. Please bring some change with you. Obviously we can never tell what the weather will be like so please bring clothes and shoes that will suit the weather and the amount of walking that we will do.
Refunds
Deadline for Refunds: For tour that is outside the welcome programme (January and September) you have until 1200 noon on the Wednesday of the week of your tour. After this time no refunds can be issued at all.
