Drop-In Family Workshop: Build, Learn & Play with LEGO.

Join us for a hands-on, family-friendly workshop where creative play meets engineering!

Build your own vehicles, from tractors, aeroplanes, diggers and cranes, and maybe even a working mill!

Discover how machinery has evolved over the years during a fun and educational session for kids and grown-ups alike. Bring your imagination and get building!

Suitable for adults and families with children aged 4+

Your ticket will give you 1 hour of building time - tickets will be available on the day.

Please book a ticket for each person who will be building during the session to make sure we have enough lego and plenty of space at the table!

About Joel

Joel from Get Playing will be leading the session. Since launching their first LEGO club in January 2024, Get Playing has been dedicated to creating fun, hands-on after-school clubs and holiday camps. Their mission is to offer children an engaging, social alternative to screen time through interactive play and creativity.

About the venue

Sunny Bank Mills is an inspirational cultural destination in the heart of the local community of Farsley, Leeds. Founded in 1829, these glorious Mills are being regenerated by the sixth generation of the family owners, creating a wonderful blend of work, leisure and culture.

Course terms and booking conditions

Workshop and course bookings can be cancelled and refunded up until 7 days before the scheduled start date. As materials and equipment are ordered in advance, we regret that refunds cannot be offered less than 7 days before the workshop date. Please note that Eventbrite’s booking fee is non-refundable.

If we need to cancel the course for any reason your ticket will be fully refunded.

Accessibility

This event will be held in the Finishing Room, which is located through the rear entrance of the Gallery. The space has flat access through the Mills’ Main Yard.

There are several disabled toilets on site, as well as free accessible parking.
