LEHSS 121 Consultation
Date and time
Location
Online event
1 to 1 consultation sessions are a space for staff to discuss issues they experience in school with children and how to assist them.
About this event
LEHSS consultation sessions are a space for staff to discuss on a one-to-one basis the difficulties they are having with children, in school, to understand why the difficulty is happening, and think of ways to improve the situation. For example, this could be a difficulty with a child who is very disruptive in school, a child with severe anxiety, or a child who is very low in mood.
We aim to offer a safe, confidential and containing space to talk about current issues and challenges.
Consultation sessions will be run by experienced Clinical Psychologists who are registered with, and regulated by, the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
PLEASE NOTE: this training session is only available to staff employed by schools and colleges within the Lancashire County Council area. Places cannot be allocated to people employed by other services or who work in schools outside this area.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to being a preventative service, we cannot discuss issues of self- harm, suicidal thoughts or any other situation where a child is at risk from others or to others. We would encourage you to speak with the other services (Child and Adult Mental Health Services, Social Services, Youth Offending Team, etc.).
Please sign up using your school or college email to demonstrate your eligibility.
