About this event

School Activities • Public Speaker

This training day will introduce you to ideas and models around individual and peer supervision that can be implemented in school and college settings. It will be useful and relevant for any setting which plans to introduce a system for staff supervision to support their practice.

What you will learn and gain from this training:

  • A better understanding of what supervision is
  • How to apply supervision models to practice in schools
  • To understand and practice good supervision skills
  • To think about how to set up supervision in your setting

The day will involve presentations around supervision models and skills, and workshop time in small peer groups to think about your setting and to develop options for future planning.

Light refreshments are provided through the day. Lunch is not provided but can be brought or purchased at the venue.

PLEASE NOTE: This Training session is only available to staff employed by schools and colleges within the Lancashire County Council area. Places cannot be allocated to people employed by other services or who work in schools outside this area. This training is fully funded by LCC and there is no charge to staff directly employed by a school or college within the LCC area.
