Leica Store Online | Test Drive the Leica SL-System

Please note that from 1st July 2025, the fee for our test drive service will increase to £50. This fee is fully redeemable against the purchase of a new Leica camera, via Leica Online Store UK, made within three months of completing the test drive.

Our test drives are the perfect option for those who would like to try before they buy. You can test drive the Leica SL3 or SL3-S with an SL-Lens, or with an M lens with M-L Adapter, for the weekend. The choice of the lens is subject to availability. You can also test drive the Leica SL3 or SL3-S with your own SL-Lens. It's your choice.

This bespoke test drive is a great opportunity to learn more about the SL-System, including the SL-Lenses and these two ground-breaking Leica cameras, and to challenge your creativity by putting their outstanding performance in both moving and still images to the test.

Delivery via DHL. Please note when booking:

• The Test Drive starts on Friday, and lasts for the weekend until Monday 12:00PM (or until DHL pick up receipt)
• A DHL return label will be included in the box and a DHL pick up will be scheduled for you.

Please note that bookings are restricted to one per customer. We reserve the right to refuse a customer who booked more than one SL-System test drive via Leica stores in the UK.

• Fee: : complimentary until 1st July 2025. £50 after 1st July 2025. Includes two-way shipping.
• Delivery: Available only within the United Kingdom. The kit cannot be delivered to other countries or to addresses different from the one for which you provide proof. Delivery options include DHL or in-person pickup at our London Mayfair Store.
• Full kit includes: SL3 or SL3-S camera, SL-Lens (if applicable), hoods and caps, strap, battery, charger, SD card, camera bag. Any changes or requirements may be confirmed with our team in advance.
• Eligibility: 18+ years, mainland UK residents only.
• Required documentation: copy of a valid ID (passport or driver’s licence only), copy of 2x proofs of address (such as utility bill, council tax, bank statement). Proofs of address must be dated within the last 3 months.
• We retain the right to refuse the service.
• Our test drives are limited to one per customer per product.

A pre-authorisation hold will be taken before the start of the test drive:

• This is a hold totalling half the total value of the items borrowed.
• This is not a deposit; no funds will be taken from your account.
• The hold will be released upon safe return of the kit.
• The payment hold requires a valid credit card.
• We will try to accommodate alternative security measures, please contact us for details.

RISK OF LOSS AND DAMAGE. You assume all risk and liability for loss of and/or damage to the Product(s) during the Term and until the Product(s) are returned to us. You shall handle the Product(s) with the utmost care so as to ensure that the Product(s) are not damaged in any manner while in your possession, fair wear and tear excepted.
