Description
On the back of the success of last year’s Leicester Whisky Festival that was held at the National Space Centre, the team at 23 Wine & Whiskey have been working hard to bring you the Leicester Dram Fest 2019 .
This year’s festival will be on Saturday 16th November at the iconic Grand Hotel in Leicester City Centre. The Dram Fest will have a whole host of new exciting whiskies & masterclasses giving you a even bigger & better whisky tasting experience.

The festival is split into TWO session with the following times-
Afternoon Session (Last pour 3.30pm)
11.15am - 3.45pm Afternoon Session VIP Admission
12pm - 3.45pm Afternoon Session General Admission
Evening Session (Last pour 9.15pm)
5pm - 9.30pm Evening Session VIP Admission
5.45pm - 9.30pm Evening Session General Admission
VIP tickets are limited in number and allow 45 minutes early access into the festival.

Masterclasses
Afternoon Session
Balvenie - 12.30pm, £55*
Masterclass will include seven whiskies from Balvenie. Single Barrel 12 Year Old, Doublewood 12 Year Old, Sweet Toast of American Oak 12 Year Old, Single Cask 1984 American Oak, Portwood 21 Year Old, Week of Peat 14 Year Old and A Day of Dark Barley 26 Year Old (Dream Dram worth £30*)
Asian Whisky - 1.30pm, £35.
Masterclass will include 6 whiskies. From Taiwan, Kavalan Classic and Solist Sherry Oak. From India, Amrut Single Malt and Fusion. From Japan, Nikka Miyagikyo & Yoichi.
Evening Session
Paul John vs Mackmyra - 7pm, £25
Masterclass will have India take on Sweden. Three Paul John Indian whiskies, Brilliance, Bold and the Christmas Edition will go up against three Mackmyra Swedish whiskies, Vintersol, Intelligens Al and Svensk Rök Amerikansk Ek
Glenfiddich - 8.30pm, £45.
Masterclass has six whiskies. Including a rare opportunity to try three single casks that are not available to try or buy anywhere else. Line up includes 15 Year Old, Project XX, IPA, 21 Year Old Cask Strength Bourbon Cask, 21 Year Old Cask Strength Sherry Cask and 21 Year Old Cask of Dreams.

Due to the nature of the event, we are instigating a Challenge 25 policy. If you look younger than 25, please bring relevant ID.

The event is for over 18's only.

Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. Please bring a print out of your e-ticket or have them ready on your phone/tablet for scanning on the day.

Drunken or abusive behaviour will not be tolerated. The event is for everyone to enjoy and anyone disrupting this will be removed from the site immediately with their party and no refunds will be issued.

Masterclasses and Dream Drams will incur an additional cost.

Masterclasses tickets are only valid in conjunction with Leicester Dram Fest VIP or General admission tickets for the session that they are in.
