ECF Graded 6 round Swiss Rapidplay
Rate of Play: 20 mins + 10 sec increment per move
All players play in all rounds
Current Entries: Open, U165, U140, U115, Junior U80, Junior U40
Sections:
Open (Prizes 1st £150, 2nd £75, 3rd £40 + £30 grading prize)
Major U165 (Prizes 1st £100, 2nd £50, 3rd £30 + £25 grading prize)
Intermediate U140 (Prizes 1st £100, 2nd £50, 3rd £30 + £25 grading prize)
Minor U115 (Prizes 1st £100, 2nd £50, 3rd £30 + £25 grading prize)
Junior U80 (entrants must be U16 on 01/09/18)
Junior U40 (entrants must be U11 on 01/09/18)
Medals will be awarded in the junior sections Gold (5-6pts), Silver (4 or 4.5pts), Bronze (3 or 3.5 pts)

Junior U80/U40 - £14 (£11.50 ECF Silver members and above)
All other Sections - £23 (£15 ECF Silver members and above)

There is no entry on the day but if you email the organisers (see below) with the appropiate details (ECF grading Ref, dob for juniors etc) it is possible to pay cash on the day with a surchage of £2 on the advertised prices. Online entry is much preferred though!

Additional Notes for Competitors
Prize Money will be shared in the event of a tie.
A player's rapidplay grade in the ECF July 18 list (August revision) will be used to determine eligibility to play in a section.
For the purposes of this competition an 'F' grade is deemed to be the same as an Ungraded player.
'F' Grade and Ungraded players must give full information regarding their playing ability, including previous results and any grading held previously. Failure to do so may render a player ineligible for a prize.
Smoking is not permitted on the school site
Ball games are strictly forbidden inside the school building
