Description

Learn how to measure and make a plan, lay out a design and do a plant list. This short course will give you direction and confidence in how to tackle your garden in a practical way. The course will include a presentation with demonstration, time for discussion and handouts.

You will need to bring: Please bring writing materials to make notes on the day. Please wear suitable clothing for walk about the grounds if weather permits.

Parking is available at Suffolk Rural with no charge.

Are refreshments available?

Our refectories will not be open, so you may wish to bring your own refreshments with you. Drinks vending machines are available on campus.

What precautions are in place relating to Covid 19?

If you are showing any symptoms or have been in contact with anyone showing symptoms in the last 14 days, please do not travel or attend the college.

The college has implemented a range of adjustments in line with Government guidelines. This includes introducing a one-way system around the building, reconfiguring rooms and ventilation, wearing face coverings in communal areas and when 2m distance cannot be maintained such as when being taught a specific skill, applying social distancing in the communal areas and in classrooms/workshops, washing hands with soap and water often for at least 20 seconds or use hand sanitizer gel if soap and water not available.
