Description
This course looks at how to produce flowers, fruit and vegetable from your site and still have a garden to enjoy. It looks at containers, planning fruit and vegetable garden layouts, fitting them in, types to grow and how to nurture and love them to get the most from the site. We shall look at non-chemical ways to control pests and diseases and make your garden wildlife friendly too. This is a chance to develop your garden into one that is productive, practical and friendly to all users.
You will need to bring: writing materials, note pad, A4 plain paper, ruler and eraser.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Parking is available at Suffolk Rural with no charge.
Are refreshments available?
Our refectories will not be open, so you may wish to bring your own refreshments with you. Drinks vending machines are available on campus.

What precautions are in place relating to Covid 19?
If you are showing any symptoms or have been in contact with anyone showing symptoms in the last 14 days, please do not travel or attend the college.
The college has implemented a range of adjustments in line with Government guidelines. This includes introducing a one-way system around the building, reconfiguring rooms and ventilation, wearing face coverings in communal areas and when 2m distance cannot be maintained such as when being taught a specific skill, applying social distancing in the communal areas and in classrooms/workshops, washing hands with soap and water often for at least 20 seconds or use hand sanitizer gel if soap and water not available.
