This is an opportunity to make your own Traditional Christmas Wreath

About this Event

Description

In this workshop you will be taught the traditional method of how to moss and back a frame, attach the foliage and finish with bow and trimmings. You will then be able to take away your own individually hand made wreath away with you. This workshop is suitable for beginners and those with limited experience.

You will need to bring:

  • 10” wire wreath ring (Available to purchase from the college)
  • A good selection of foliage’s from: Conifer, bay, pine, tree ivy, blue spruce or any evergreen foliage suitable for wreaths
  • A selection of Christmas accessories to theme your design such as small baubles, cones, cinnamon sticks, orange slices, ribbon for bows etc
  • Moss (Available to purchase from the college)

Parking is available at Suffolk Rural with no charge.

Are refreshments available?

Our refectories will not be open, so you may wish to bring your own refreshments with you. Drinks vending machines are available on campus.

What precautions are in place relating to Covid 19?

If you are showing any symptoms or have been in contact with anyone showing symptoms in the last 14 days, please do not travel or attend the college.

The college has implemented a range of adjustments in line with Government guidelines. This includes introducing a one-way system around the building, reconfiguring rooms and ventilation, wearing face coverings in communal areas and when 2m distance cannot be maintained such as when being taught a specific skill, applying social distancing in the communal areas and in classrooms/workshops, washing hands with soap and water often for at least 20 seconds or use hand sanitizer gel if soap and water not available.
