Les Mills CXWORX™ & The London City Runners
Event Information
Description
You are invited to join the London City Runners on Wednesday, 22nd January, 2020 for a free event with Les Mills UK, the global leader in group fitness. They want 2020 to be your best year of running yet with CXWORX™, the perfect complement to any runner’s training programme.
At the event, we'll kick off with a short, 3km warmup run. Then, the Les Mills team will guide you through a 30-minute group fitness class called CXWORX with one of their Master Trainers. It’s a short, sharp but hugely effective integrated core training workout scientifically proven to improve running performance! This carefully structured programme improves your core strength, running symmetry and aids injury prevention, not to mention, their recent research shows that doing it three times per week can decrease your 5k time by an average of 66 seconds!
We’ll then enjoy some much-deserved nibbles and drinks, all courtesy of Les Mills.
All attendees will also receive:
- A goody bag packed full of things runners like, including a LES MILLS SMARTBAND™, a special resistance band engineered for CXWORX (valued at £35!).
- A code for free 21-day trial to LES MILLS™ On Demand so you can keep doing CXWORX from home
- A free drink at the bar
This event is the perfect chance to lock in some strong new fitness habits and kickstart your Spring training, especially if you have a half or full marathon in your 2020 race plans. There are only 50 spots available for this exclusive event so if you’re interested, get in early.
