Anne Marie Campbell began organising events at the age of 16 and went on to study Entertainment & Event Management at Glasgow Caledonian University, graduating in 2009 before relocating to London for seven years.
Her career spans a wide range of sectors, including learning & development, entertainment, transport, and charity events. With strong organisational and communication skills, she has successfully delivered large-scale events such as COP26 and the Solheim Cup.
In August of this year, Anne Marie joined St Andrew's Hospice in Airdrie as Corporate & Events Fundraising Manager. The hospice provides specialist palliative care services to patients from both South and North Lanarkshire who are living with life-limiting illnesses. Contrary to common assumptions, the hospice is not fully funded, with less than 35% of its income coming from the NHS. The remaining funding relies heavily on the generosity of businesses, supporters, and community fundraising efforts, ensuring the continuation of vital inpatient and outpatient services.
Anne Marie is passionate about building meaningful corporate partnerships, creating impactful events, and working with businesses to achieve shared goals that not only benefit the hospice but also deliver value to partners and the wider community. She looks forward to connecting with fellow professionals to share insights, exchange ideas, and explore opportunities for collaboration.
